Culinary Herb Wreath Workshop: Turkey Brine Edition
This November, join us at Neighbors for a workshop that celebrates both craft and season. Ellen of Telander Farms will guide us in making culinary wreaths using freshly harvested herbs grown just a few miles away at her farm in Arroyo Grande. Built on simple grape vine wreath forms with natural twine, these wreaths are made to be enjoyed now and in the months ahead.
Each participant will also receive a jar of salt and spices to create a holiday turkey brine. When the wreath has dried, it can be taken apart and blended with the spice jar for a flavorful, truly local brine, if that's the route you'd like to take.
What’s Included
- Instruction from Ellen of Telander Farms
- A wreath made with organic, freshly harvested herbs
- A jar with salt and spices for turkey brine with a recipe card
- Wine and light bites during the evening
- 15% off shopping at Neighbors the night of the workshop
A Living Arrangement
These wreaths are beautiful when fresh and practical as they dry. Snip herbs to cook with right away, or let them dry and keep them on hand for oils, teas, and everyday meals. They bring fragrance and flavor into the home, connecting your cooking to the season and the land it comes from.
